Lisa Vanderpump Named Woman Of The Year
On Monday, the California State Assembly took some time off their busy and chaotic schedule to honor the women of California. The ‘Women of the Year’ were each named and honored with a special certificate on the State Assembly floor. Amongst some of the honorees, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump, was named ‘Woman of the Year.’
The entrepreneur and reality star received the honor for her work as a businesswoman, as well as for her activism in the gay and lesbian community.
Assemblyman Richard Bloom, presented Lisa Vanderpump with the honor. Vanderpump was elated by the prestigious honor and tweeted her delight. “Leaving Sacramento,going home,@in awe of some of the women honored here today at State assembly Women standing up for what they believe in”
Lisa also noted many of the attendees inquired about her beloved pet dog, Giggy, she tweeted,
