Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks have been at odds from the beginning of their “Real Housewives of Atlanta” relationship, with Phaedra’s felon husband, Apollo Nida, being smack in the middle of of the messy, Bravo-forced alliance. Apollo is currently parked in the slammer, and there is no doubt that his shady character screams LIAR. He admitted to falsely accusing Kenya of sexually pursuing him, and considering the fact that he is a twice convicted crook, his word is certainly sketchy at best. Before Nida went ‘asunder’, he nailed Phaedra on camera, for allegedly carrying on an affair with a man simply known as ‘Chocolate,’ even producing some incriminating text messages as convincing proof that his wifey couldn’t wait for her sweet, single freedom. So is a liar ALWAYS a liar?
Phaedra picks and chooses what she doesn’t believe…namely that no matter what her hubby claims, Kenya was indeed chasing him for sexual favors. However, she switches gears, and calls LIAR when Apollo nails her to the wall, denying any involvement with a certain dark and sticky fellow. Kenya simplifies matters in her blog this week, and blasts LIAR on both Apollo and Phaedra, which I suspect was the original attraction between the two, back in the good old days of air mattresses and ankle bracelets. Kenya assures her readers that she has moved on from Phaedra’s nastiness, but doesn’t doubt the scalding hot tea that Apollo dumped on the cast, before checking into the Big House.
“I’d moved on and forgave Phaedra for all of the lies she single handedly fabricated about me. When Cynthia told me of Apollo’s latest findings, I didn’t doubt it, as I have experienced what she is capable of first hand. My emotional reaction was based on anger not pain. I thought, “The nerve of her!” She went on a slut shaming, whore-calling campaign without any proof, and now that Apollo caught her with sticky fingers dipped in chocolate, I felt vindicated yet again. I don’t care about their relationship or how many men Phaedra chooses to sleep with, that is her cross to bear.”
Kenya reminds us that it was Parks who dragged her into the messy discussion about Apollo catching his wife red handed, with her hand in the chocolate.
When Cynthia reluctantly brought up the Apollo accusations, I kept quiet. To those who say I’m in Phaedra’s business or marriage, let’s get one thing straight — Phaedra brought my name into the conversation by saying “the text messages with Kenya and that supposedly didn’t happen either,” in effect still calling me a whore and a liar. Of course I had a right to respond in kind. Classic Phaedra, divert attention from the real issue and lie on someone else, namely me. She tried it!
Kenya tags both Apollo and Phaedra as liars, and cites a long history of Phaedra covering up a less than virtuous past.
“Apollo and Phaedra are both liars. Facts are indisputable. However, we are not talking about a rumor but an accusation. Whether you choose to believe it or not, it comes down to the facts whereby Apollo presented proof. Yet, it’s OK to believe him when he lied about me.”
“But the truth will always come to light. Phaedra claimed she wasn’t called a “head doctor” in high school, even though it was her new BFF who stated it. Oh, and didn’t Chuck also say Phaedra was a “jump off”? She also lied about the phone call with Cynthia until Cynthia presented hard evidence. And let’s not forget she even lied about her due date to everyone — the timeline doesn’t lie. Phaedra has so many skeletons in her closet, and they are not from the dead people she embalms.”
Moore is restraining herself, because if she wasn’t striving to keep her blog show-relevant, she could have gone MUCH further. Phaedra’s days of snowing the public with her stories are numbered, because as Moore reminds us “the truth will always come to light.”
