The hits just keep coming for former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, Teresa Giudice! As we previously reported, Teresa and her husband, Joe Giudice were forced reduced the asking price of their Towaco, NJ mansion by $500,000 in January.
The new listing price of the gaudy dwelling is currently $2.99 million. While the price reduction may seem reasonable, or even a bargain for the 4-acre property, the residence was recently appraised for around $1.8 million… a far cry from the new asking price.
All About the Tea has learned that the couple has been forced to remove their house from the market entirely. According to a source, the bad weather and lack of interest are the driving reasons for removing the house, the source tells All About the Tea,
“The snow and bad weather forced Joe to take the house off the market.” Adding, “He can’t handle having to keep the house clean all the time and the driveway free of snow to accommodate the showings. But he does plan to put the house back on the market after the weather improves.”
Below is the Zillow record showing the house has been removed from the market as of March 1, 2015:
Teresa and Joe put their Towaco, New Jersey Mcmansion on the market in September 2014, and since have reduced the price three times, most recently in January, where they slashed their expectations by $500k.
Joe has been struggling to manage his role as Mr. Mom while his wife serves her 15-month prison sentence for fraud. As we reported last week, Joe has been boozing, smoking and neglecting his daughters while Teresa sits in the pokey. According to a source, Juicy Joe has been hitting the bar scene hard, and is simply not a committed presence in the lives of his four daughters. No surprise he’s not managing the household duties, he was not a stellar husband prior to his wife entering prison.

All About the Tea spoke to a real estate professional who confirmed the Giudice mansion was removed from the market. The agent also shared that taking the house off the market is a bad move from a sellers standpoint and the house will have a hard time selling because it’s overpriced for the area. The agent pointed out that the house sits at the end of the street and it’s a BIG mansion surrounded by small homes worth considerably much less which devalues the Giudice home.
