The powerhouse behind Bravo’s wildly popular “Real Housewives” franchise, Andy Cohen, recently spoke with US Weekly to dish on the future of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey.“
Andy spilled the tea about the direction of the show post Teresa Giudice’s conviction and addressed casting rumors. Specifically, the absurd rumor that Snooki formerly of the “Jersey Shore” will join the “Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Shortly after the rumor first emerged, Andy told a Twitter follower “She ain’t joining.” To which Snooki added, “You can say that again.” Thank you Jesus!
In addition to opening up about Snooki not joining the series, Andy also dished about the show’s status now that jailbird Teresa Giudice is serving a 15-month prison sentence for fraud.
“I can’t imagine not filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Andy told Us Weekly. “It’s a big franchise for Bravo, and I think whatever we do, we’re going to do it the right way, so we’re still figuring that out right now.” Andy adds, “Anything is possible,” He teased. “There’s a lot of people in New Jersey.”
When asked could Teresa’s daughter, Gia, who’s an aspiring pop star have a shot someday as a future as a Housewife. Andy snarked,
“Maybe!” Cohen adding, “Anything is possible.”
