#WWHL: NeNe Leakes Talks Phaedra And Apollo’s Confrontation & Praises Porsha For Sleeping With A Married Man
NeNe Leakes appeared on “Watch What Happens Live“ last night after the drama-filled “The Real Housewives of Atlanta“ episode. NeNe was joined by actress Tracee Ellis Ross from the new show “Blackish.” The burning topic of the evening was the intense confrontation between Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida that left viewers confused and shocked. NeNe defended her new BFF, Phaedra:
“How can you not feel for a woman in a situation like that. You just feel for them. She did handle herself well. In fact, I laughed a couple of times at some of the things she was saying.”
NeNe clarifies her opinion on women who date married men, including what type of married men would be ideal should a woman choose to date one:
“I never did…I never complimented Porsha for dating a married man. Let’s be very clear. I’m a married woman and I have been since 1997. Okay!! Now what I did say was, if you’re going to date a married man, since the other girls were making accusations that Porsha got a car and a bag, and all these kinds of things from a married man, if you’re going to date one, that’s the way to date one. There are many girls who dated married men and get absolutely nothing but a missing cl*t. At least Porsha was able to get a car and bags. If you gonna turn a trick that’s how you turn one!”
NeNe weighed in about Apollo accusing Phaedra of having an affair with Mr. Chocolate:
“First, I like the name. I don’t know whether Phaedra is having an affair with a man named Chocolate or not. It was so strange he was running around saying all that stuff. It’s just kind of sad. Look, I’ve been through a public break-up before, and it’s really sad and nobody is really there supporting you through this kind of stuff.”
NeNe continues:
“Phaedra does have a girlfriend named White Chocolate that she is best friends with, she was a bridesmaid in her wedding.”
Andy Cohen tells NeNe the poll question….Is Phaedra better off without Apollo, NeNe responded:
“Let me just say, anytime you’re in an abusive relationship. I’m not saying that is, but I don’t like that kind of stuff, what was happening at the end. The going back and forth, that’s a no for me in a relationship. I don’t want to feel scared in my relationship.”
