Demoted “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Porsha Williams, recently did an impromptu “audition” for a part on the Fox hit show “Empire.” The former peach conducted her unofficial “audition” during an episode of Dish Nation. And after she was done hurting her Dish Nation co-stars ears, Porsha decided that maybe she really could be on the show. “I’m gonna be on Empire,” she joked, making sure to remind fans they can pick up the track on iTunes.
Many of the RHOA ladies have expressed their admiration for the show on social media. Kandi, who is a real-life music industry insider, tweeted about watching the series after it premiered in January.
Kandi Burruss recently shared a selfie featuring herself and the show’s sassy leading lady, Taraji P. Henson aka “Cookie. It’s safe to say that “Empire” fever is contagious with the Housewives of Hotlanta.
Their admiration for the show makes sense given that “Empire” EP, Lee Daniels, recently revealed that the show’s drama was partly inspired by the “Real Housewives” franchise.
