So heart wrenching for her father & the family for have to make that decision on someone so young. 🙁
Prayers to BKB & her family.

  • Norrth

As a mother, I can’t imagine anything worse than to have to make this choice.

  • My heart goes out to Bobby Brown and his family. He may not have been a good father but I know he loves his daughter and is devastated.

    • Bad Barbie

Why wasn’t he a “good father”? The Houston’s kept him away from his daughter and not for nothing Whitney was worse than Bobby.

      • Bobby & Whitney were drug addicts who free based cocaine (Crack is Whack) in front of their child. They were NOT good parents.

        • misstc

In that Lifetime movie, they made it look like only Whitney had a problem. They should have never made that movie, IMO.

          • I think the movie was done very well and it highlighted what I’ve been saying for years….Bobby Brown did not turn Whitney onto drugs. She had been using long before Bobby came into the picture. As for how the movie affected Krissy, I’m sure it broke her heart. However, Krissy has been a troubled child from the start, being the product of 2 drug addicted parents, Krissy inherited the addiction gene.

          • fred

ive seen drug addicted children come from completely straight parents and good kids come from horrible parents you never know what they are going to turn out like

          • Absolutely. It’s definitely an odds game. However, the odds increase drastically when a child is a product of drug addicted parents.

        • Bad Barbie

You are still stuck in 1998. Bobby turned his life around after whitney and the only people keeping him away from his daughter were her family, whom also raised whitney to be a drug addict.

Everyone blames it because it was easier than to blame whitney.

          • No, I’m not stuck in 1998. I am referring to Krissy’s formative years of development. I agree, Bobby has turned his life around in later years but that does not erase his YEARS of poor parenting.

  • Jennymckitty

I am sad to read this. Prayers for the entire family.

  • Trippinhhard

Peace be with them, they are going to need it.. I hoping they don’t drag him thru the mud. Whitneys SIL and brother remind me of THEIVES…

    • Bad Barbie

      I agree

  • Brattus Rattus

This news just sucks. I’m so sorry for everyone involved in this entire ordeal. It breaks my heart.

  • You are in my thoughts and Prayers Houston and Brown families. This is so tragic.

  • Wendy Owen

    Prayers for Bobby and Bobbi.

  • Bad Barbie

What a shame. This girl’s heart died when her mother did. Too bad she didn’t see the light and was strong to carry on her legacy. People love to blame Bobby Brown but in reality, the same people who raised Whitney, raised Bobbi and the results were the same. It is obvious the Houston’s are not so innocent in all of this. Whitney’s family got too involved with a father-daughter relationship. The truth is, all of the other “Brown” kids are not this way.
Besides, he was her father and had the same right as Whitney. The Houston’s just couldn’t lose that meal ticket.

    Sad ish.

    • Trippinhhard

Thank you BB, it time people stop blaming Bobby for Whitney’s demons, she had all of them before they met, her brother gave her drugs first.. Just hope this familt can heal, but money makes people act a damn fool… Bobby received nothing from his divorce from Whitney nor has he every said anything bad about her… I hope he’s has his drinking under control, if not this is going to be a hard blow to deal with..

      • Bad Barbie

The dude turned his life around a while back. Whitney didn’t and it is obvious she also did a bad job at parenting and so did Cici.
The rest of Bobby’s kids are normal kids.

    • Karma

very well said BB I agree it’s time for the Whitney family and others to stop blaming Bobby.

After all Krissy spent most of her life with her mun & her mum family so how can Booby be blamed for everything as you said Bobby other kids as far as I know don’t have an addiction. What a day to ask Bobby to pull the plug on his daughter on his birthday anytime is a hard hard time, like I said earlier I’m still praying for a miracle

  • DLister

I’ve been praying constantly for all of them — sending love and peace…
But what actually happened to her? How did she end up face down in the bathtub? News on the cause has been very scarce. Anyone know?

    • misstc

Yes, they are keeping very tight-lipped about this whole thing & rushing to pull the plug raises more red flags for me. I myself would want DNR, but I’ve had a long life and BK is just starting hers. Usually teens act out in dramatic ways, but at 21 I feel she might have passed out elsewhere & someone could have wanted to set her up to mimic Whitney’s demise. I will say my heart is broken to hear this!

      • Karma

never thought of that that she passed out & some tried to mimic her mum’s passing hmm interesting

        • misstc

Yes, and I hate to ask this one & only question – what is the current financial status of Bobby Brown? Not trying to disrespect the difficult decision he has to make or question his love for her. But this one question keeps popping up in my mind.

  • misstc

I just don’t know. Some people are kept in coma for months before pulling any plugs; so I don’t know why the rush to disconnect so soon? It’s not like they can’t afford to. Many Dr.s are wrong at times and people do come back. Either way, my prayers are with both families and BK.

    • Karma

yeah I don’t understand the hurry either my friend committed suicide last week 4 days after she took her life her husband also tried to kill himself he’s in an induced coma the doc have said it’s still to early to get him outta the coma he drank bleach so he’s burnt his insides & they are operating on him the doc told his dad that the longer he’s in a coma the better his insides will recover however it’s a double edge swords the longer he’s in a coma the more brain damage but they will discuss it in a months time.

WHY the hurry it’s only been a week doctors aren’t always right and you’re right the family can afford to keep her in hospital I would wait at least a month but that’s just me i find it very hard to let go

  • TartLemon

Nick’s out of any inheritance. Bobby’s next then BK’s siblings, right?

    • I know for a fact her dad first but not sure who falls in line after that.

      • misstc

There are no other siblings, unless you call BK’s half sister w/dad Bobby. If it is a sizable amount, I hope it is in the courts until every piece of evidence is researched.

      • Karma

it would depend if she had a will if not usually the next of kin ie Bobby her dad would inherit her money & when god forbid Bobby passes if he doesn’t have a will & is still married to his wife she will inherit his money. I believe it’s very important no matter how old you are you should have a will which reminds my husband and I don’t have one better get on to that ASAP that’s how it works in Australia don’t know if it’s the same in the States

    • Janet

Bobby won’t get anything according to Whitney’s will since they were divorced at the time of Whitney’s death.

  • TartLemon

I just read elsewhere the life support was removed moments ago. Got a little teary thinking of Bobby Brown having to make that choice, sign those papers.

    • That report is FALSE. That UK rag is the only news source reporting that. No US based news source is confirming that.

      • TartLemon

Okay. I’m still sad for Bobby having to make that decision.

So sad. It’s just tragic. She is so young.
I hope Krissy can finally find peace.
My heartfelt sympathies to her Dad & family. I hope they too can find some peace & solace in their lives.

I’ve read and sympathized. YES Bobby & Whitney had drug issues. As a product of that, I CHOSE avoiding those mistakes. I GUARANTEE Bobby & Whitney never INTENDED bad parenting, they loved her. I’m sick of hearing they were bad parents -bad choices & bad outcomes yes. Bad parents abuse, kill, mame, starve avoid etc their children.. My young recently Mom died, and the guilt of her recovered drug past that someone hooked her on, destroyed our relationship but I KNEW she loved me. My father before dying right after, apologized for neglecting me & being a bad parent but again I KNEW he loved me. I KNOW if Bobby & Whitney and other parents could rewind, they would. Bobbi Kris obviously attempted suicide which seems successful. Parents make mistakes to SHOW us what to do or not to, for our success, NOT to make the same drug, alcohol, loser or uneducated mistakes. BOBBI KRIS CHOSE DRUGS AND TO PERHAPS DIE IN THE SAME BATHTUB POSITION HER MOTHER DID. Hopefully, Bobby’s new child gives him the “Prerogative” to be a great parent… Blessings to everyone who’ll hopefully cut the BS, grieve and move on.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOBBY BROWN… And now some hot tea to calm me down

    • Karma

I totally agree with you I’m so sorry your parents had an addiction but thank god you’re smart enough to know they always loved you god bless you, you turned out great I’m also dealing with addiction in my family and I am always worried to get that call even though they may not say it every time I know full well I’m loved & even though they get angry when I’ve organised Intervention & pooled the family together to pay for rehab thank god both ny cousins have been sober for almost 6yrs I & the rest of the family still keep a close eye in case of a relapse the sweetest words I ever heard was thank you all you all saved my life. Now my cousin has a 1yr old son & she’s thriving I’ve been told that it’s genetics but I honestly don’t know all i know is their both sober and both have now a healthy child.

I too don’t agree with anyone blaming Bobby& Whitney no parent would wish their addiction on their child.

I pray for some miracle that Bobbi Kris by some miracle makes it but it doesn’t look good I’m still going to be praying for her & everyone in her situation & for the families

      • RadarAholic

Karma, thanks and God Bless you too! Hopefully those who suffered from drugs around you are glad it didn’t affect others. It’s great that your interventions were successful, people may have died without you. It’s so hard drugs, alcohol etc as loved ones see lives destroyed, so congrats! Hopefully that precious baby has a healthy life with them!… If it’s God’s will he’ll embrace Bobbi Kris however he sees fit and Bobby Brown will carry on as a good parent to his upcoming baby in 5 months. Still praying though! XOXO

    So very sad.

  • itsjustme

Regardless of how any one feels about Bobby. This is heart wrenching to me. As a parent I could never fathom how difficult this decision must be for him. My thoughts and prayers are with Bobby and the rest of the family.
