Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is reportedly brain dead after being found submerged in a bathtub at her home in Roswell, Georgia. She was found Saturday by her estranged husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend. Bobbi Kristina was purportedly not breathing and did not have a heartbeat when she was pulled from the water. Brown’s doctors are working to determine if she attempted suicide or if she met with some sort of foul play. There were no drugs found in the home, which is a possible indication of an intentional removal of substances, including prescription drugs. Brown has a history with substance abuse.

Bobbi’s father, singer Bobby Brown, arrived at North Fulton Hospital early Saturday evening, and it is likely that he will make the decision to disconnect his daughter from life support very soon. On Sunday, Bobby Brown released a statement saying,

“Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time.”

In a dramatic twist, Hiphop Enquirer is reporting that Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law, and former manager, took out a restraining order against Gordon, to prevent him from seeing Bobbi Kristina at the hospital.

The emerging details of this tragedy eerily echo the circumstances surrounding the death of Brown’s mother, Whitney Houston, who was found dead in a bathtub in the Beverly Hilton Hotel almost exactly three years ago. on February 11, 2012.  Her death was recorded as an accidental drowning, but drugs were found in her system.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Houston and Brown families.
