“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills“ star, Brandi Glanville, and fellow Bravoleb, Jeff Lewis, teamed up on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” Tuesday night, and the duo was NOT a match made in Heaven.
Both personalities are known for their brutal honesty, but only one of them is able to take what they dish out. While Jeff did his best to hide his disgust for the boozy train-wreck that is Brandi Glanville, his blurting honesty came out in spurts, veiled nicely in his trademark dry wit.
Jeff co-signed to the obvious fact that Brandi is white trash, which she actually agreed to, proudly crediting that label to her upbringing. How proud her parents must be. Jeff evidently pushed a hot button when he cracked that Brandi touching his hair could possibly infect him with a STD. Jeff IS a germaphobe after all! Brandi reared back and warned him to watch his step, and seemed to shake it off. Not so fast…because later in the show, Brandi, or the booze, decided that she was heartbroken, and decided to fling her wine in Jeff’s face in retaliation for the wisecrack. Jeff looked shocked, and struggled to apologize, although his facial expressions and mouthing protests behind Brandi’s squeaky, sniffling back, hardly reflected regret. Andy Cohen struggled to smooth things over, but he was clearly very uncomfortable.
Ironically, Jeff had defended Brandi earlier in the show, and played down her just aired ‘Housewives’ wine toss into the face of Eileen Davidson, characterizing the soap star’s reaction as ‘dramatic’. Brandi also claimed on the show that the soap star targeted wine incident as the ‘first time’ that she had ever done such a thing….evidently this is a recently adopted trashy habit! Brandi later claimed that the whole thing was a set-up, staged to make Andy squirm. She later tweeted, “we were prancing Andy! I had turn around because I was laughing so hard not crying
This incident did NOT look staged to me. I also find it hard to believe that the Trashbox Glanville is real friends with Jeff Lewis. He is just too sensitive to GROSS!
