Former BFF’s, NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak, joined forces again for a special episode of “Watch What Happens Live” last night.
NeNe and Wigs & Cigs cracked jokes and indulged in a recollection of their past drama over their failed friendship.
The reality stars mended their fractured friendship, “NeNe and I are cool now,” Zolciak told Andy Cohen this past August and she attended NeNe’s wedding in Leakes spinoff show. Find out how the ladies squashed their beef when a caller asked how they reconciled, NeNe answered, “I would say time. Time heals wounds. I think over time we kinda healed, and Kim ended up leaving the show… all of those things. I just think time heals.” Zolciak agreed, chiming in, “I definitely agree, I think time.”
They later addressed some of their past issues, in a round of Cohen’s “Plead the Fifth” game, where guests are forced to answer tough questions. Asked by Zolciak about the one thing she regrets saying about her friend-turned foe-turned-friend again, Leakes said, “I’ve said so much s–t about you…” trailing off before admitting she regrets saying, “‘Close your legs to married men.'”
Andy Cohen then read a tweet from Kenya Moore inquiring if NeNe will ever donate the $20,000 to Kenya’s charity of choice and once NeNe again rebuffs the question by answering “When I feel like it!” Not shocking since NeNe made this same PROUD declaration when she visited the WWHL clubhouse the last time. Just like her previous visit, Leakes admitted that she chose to shimmy her way out of an agreement she had made, breaking a promise to match a donation Kenya had committed to the charity of her choice.
Kenya chose the Detroit Public Schools Foundation, and followed through by donating $20k to the charity. Leakes promised to match the $20k, but admittedly reneged on the deal, cryptically citing that the statute of limitations had run out on her promise. The disgusted president of the foundation assured the press that there had been no communication with Leakes, and the foundation would be more than happy to accept any donation from the self proclaimed rich bitch.
When a caller asked NeNe what’s different between her fallout with Cynthia versus Kim, since she said she would never speak to both again, NeNe went on to explain the difference:
