Breaking News: Mama June’s Child Molesting Boyfriend, Molested June’s Own Daughter
As reported, TLC cancelled the hit reality show, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” because the family matriarch, Mama June was exposed for dating a convicted sex offender who molested an 8-year old relative.
Now TMZ is reporting, the 8-year-old girl who was molested by Mama June‘s new boyfriend has come forward. The victim is being identified as Mama June’s own daughter, Anna Cardwell.
Mark McDaniel was convicted of aggravated child molestation in 2004 and served 10 years in prison. McDaniel was convicted of forcing oral sex on an 8-year-old, Anna Cardwell.
Mama June denied the claims in a statement posted to the Facebook page of daughter, Honey Boo Boo (Alana Thompson).
“I want to make a post trying to clear up the rumors,” Shannon began. “(R)emember you can’t believe everything you read! (People) sell stories to the tabloid everyday that r false! It isnt true i promise my kids r #1 priority over anything else and I would never put them in danger period over this or anything else they r my life this is my past I left him 10 yrs ago for it and I wouldn’t go back.”
The show’s future was already in jeopardy because of Shannon’s alleged relationship with McDaniel. TLC said in a statement that it was rethinking the future of “Honey Boo Boo.”
“TLC is not currently in production on ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series.”
According to TMZ, Anna Cardwell, who is now 20 years old and married with a child, is convinced her mother betrayed her by seeing McDaniel again. Reportedly, TLC has reached out to Anna to offer her counseling.
