Breaking News: Wendy Feldman Quits As PR Crisis Manager To Teresa Giudice
Teresa Giudice has pissed off many women over the years during her stint on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Teresa’s legal crisis manager, Wendy Feldman has joined the crowd, and has fired Teresa as a client.
E! News is reporting that the primary reason for the split is that Teresa has submitted a letter to the judge requesting that she serve her sentence at Danbury Federal Prison in Connecticut, to allow visitation with her children. Danbury Federal Prison is the inspiration for the Netflix series, Orange is the New Black. She did this without Feldman’s knowledge or permission, and that was NOT acceptable to Feldman, who has been with Teresa over the course of her lengthy legal battles.
“Sadly, my time with Teresa and has come to an end. My client relationships are very important to me, however today’s filing regarding Teresa’s Bureau of Prisons designation request was not done with my knowledge or input,” Feldman exclusively tells E! News.
It appears Teresa had crossed the line.
“I am not the consultant referred to in filing. This is clearly not the first time my advice has not been followed, but this is the time where the stakes are the highest,” Feldman continues.
My theory is that Teresa was counting on Wendy’s guidance to get her out of prison time, and Teresa probably considers her advice a bust. She has most likely launched into survival mode in hopes of lessening the blow of being separated from her four daughters. As the January 5th surrender date creeps closer, my guess is that Teresa is willing to try anything, and she is probably tired and dismissive of what she perceives as failed hand holding. That attitude didn’t fly with Feldman, so she ended the relationship.
“My ultimate responsibility is to all of my clients, not just to Teresa. I’m hopeful that, at some point, a change occurs and rehabilitation begins. My thought and wishes will always be with her children.”
This may have been a case of Teresa calling her own shots now…whether that is a wise decision or not is yet to be seen. Stay tuned.
