It’s Official: Apollo Nida is Prisoner #65725-019
It’s official…. Apollo Nida, 35, is no longer a “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, he is now officially prisoner #65725-019 in the custody of FMC Lexington Federal Prison in Lexington, Kentucky. We’re told a Bravo production team accompanied Apollo to his new home.
The Bureau of Prisons (BOP) database officially lists Apollo E. Nida as an inmate in federal custody.
Apollo Nida, is no stranger to crime and prison. The former reality star served five years in federal prison from 2004 to 2009 for racketeering.
On May 6th, Nida was convicted of conspiracy to commit mail, wire, and bank fraud and on July 8th, the reality star was sentenced to 8 years in prison with 5 years supervised release.
On Wednesday, media reports suggested the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star went AWOL and did not report to FMC Lexington Federal Prison in Lexington, Kentucky as ordered by the court.
Yesterday, Apollo posted an Instagram video at 2:30 a.m. EST, claiming he arrived at the prison and he’s “about to go asunder.” Along with a cryptic tweet. (Click on the link below to view video and tweet).

Allegedly, Bravo producers ordered Apollo to film a final “scene” before he surrendered to authorities. Supposedly, Apollo and his estranged wife, Phaedra Parks, had an “incident” at her home that may have turned physical and it was all caught on tape by a Bravo film crew (naturally). Reportedly, police were called to Phaedra’s home.
What’s next for the fallen reality househusband? Besides 8 years in prison and a cellmate, Apollo is penning an autobiography. A tell-all book about his life. Hopefully he spills the tea on his wife, Phaedra Parks. According to a source, divorce is imminent. Stay tuned.
