Melissa and Joe are driving and arguing about Melissa wrecking another car. Not just any car, the Bentley. The dude at the auto dealership said she had $100,000 in repairs last year. Melissa and Joe talk about how the “guys’ night” went. They discuss Amber’s husband Jim and how he doesn’t want to be around the two Joe’s because of the fighting. Joe wants to know what the real deal is with this guy. Mel says he doesn’t want to be around Joe Giudice because of the indictments. He doesn’t want to be seen with him.
Mel says Amber was fun in her 20’s but she has changed a lot. She mentions that once you marry someone you become like them. They talk about the upcoming party Nicole is having. The dude at the auto dealership gives them estimate to fix the car. It’s a little more than $7,000. Joe talks about how they are having some money issues because they are building a new house.
Dina and her assistant are going through her closet. She feels the need to get rid of some clothes and shoes. Her closet is AMAZING! When she married Tommy he promised her a nice closet. It holds 400 pair of shoes and looks nicer than Kim D’s Posche store. She complains she isn’t ready to let go of anything including her husband. Dina says that she needs physical touch but she isn’t ready for a relationship.
Teresa is at a costume store. Melissa comes in and then the twins. They are shopping for Nicole’s “first responder” party. Nicole says they need to dress as responders. Melissa suggests she dress as a sailor. Teresa tells us that she needs to learn about ‘responsers’ or ‘respondsors.’ She wants to be a nurse. She needs to go back to school.
They start talking about Amber and her husband. Melissa wants to know what happened after she told the twins about Amber saying Nicole wrecked a family. Nicole is devising a plan in which she will confront Amber at her party and that she will apologize in front of everyone for what she said. This is a bad idea. Nothing good can come of bitchy women drinking alcohol.
Over at Teresa’s, Melania and Audriana are playing. And of course they are yelling. Teresa is getting them ice cream and trying to get them to stop screaming. Teresa tells us she wants to teach her kids to basically keep things in check. She says she used to have a hot Italian temper. She also wants the girls to not react when people try to push their buttons.
Teresa tells the girls she has a gift for them. It was the family portrait they took with the extended family. Teresa gets emotional talking about what a great day that was and how important family is. Joe says friends will come and go but the sisters will be forever.
Amber and the kids go to Jim’s office to shoot the commercial. Their son, Michael will be directing for the first time. Jim says he would have loved to have been a writer. He’s written three books but they aren’t published because he doesn’t think he’s good enough. It takes Amber several times to get her lines right. Jim is picking on Michael for his directing skills.
Nicole goes to Dina’s house. Nicole laughs at Botox, Dina’s cat. Then they talk about Bobby. Nicole wants more excitement and spark in their relationship. He’s never really had a party before and it will be kind of a test for him according to Nicole. She asks Dina if she was bringing anyone. Dina says “no.” Nicole had someone in mind for her but Dina isn’t ready. Maybe next month because it will have something to do with Venus or Mars. Or Uranus. See what I did there?
It’s the night of Nicole’s party. She’s in kitchen with Bobby. They are talking about who is coming. Bobby says it isn’t really a fundraiser but rather raising awareness for first responders. She tells Bobby she invited someone that she thinks Dina will get along with.
Dina and her assistant are trying to figure out what to wear to the party. She doesn’t want to dress trampy. She is at a loss.
Joe Giudice tells Teresa who is dressed like a nurse that she looks a little slutty. They are in a limo and go to pick up Mel and Joe. They are dressed like Swat members.
Amber is dressed in a tight leather cat suit to be a police officer. Jim is dressed as a normal looking police officer. She once again discusses why her husband doesn’t want to associate with Joe Giudice.
Nicole says the only thing she wants to hear from Amber is, I’m sorry and goodbye. Bobby and Jim have been friends for twelve years. He doesn’t want to get involved. Nicole wants him to take her side.
They all arrive at the party. Tuh-ressa talks about getting dressed up for costume parties and says there is a difference between looking slutty and sexy. Nicole is talking about setting Dina up with her friend, Matt. Dina shows up in scrubs. She rings the doorbell and waits for someone to answer the door. She says her nipples are getting hard in the cold.
Tuh-ressa is commenting on Dina’s scrubs. She says she should have gone with them to the costume store. Nicole introduces Matt to Dina. Dina is mortified that he is hot and she is dressed in scrubs.
In walks Rosie and Kathy, who has cannolis. Everyone is small talking. Dina is not happy about being set up and tells Nicole as much.
In the limo, Teresa toasts to the first ‘response’ party. Her brother, Joe comments on her fishnet stockings. She says she wasn’t trying to look sexy. She bought the first costume she looked at. Joe tells us that if he put a wig on, Teresa and him could pass for twins and they would be better looking than the real twins.
Giudice’s and Gorga’s arrive. They are glad the walk is shoveled. Nicole says Joe Giudice gets the worst costume award because he didn’t dress us. He is the party pooper. He is dressed in a suit and said he could be anybody. He sees a man dressed as a police officer and Joe asks him if he is a real police officer. The guy said “yes.” Awkward.
Matt asks Dina on an official date. They agree to keep it simple because once again, she isn’t ready!
Dina tells Nicole she feels tension. Nicole tells them all about what Amber said. Rosie suggests she ask Amber what she is telling everyone. Amber and Jim arrive. They say hello to everyone. Jim says his opinion of Joe Giudice is what he’s read in the newspaper. He doesn’t want to associate with someone with his reputation.
Amber says hi to Tuh-ressa who tells her she has been better because she has issues with her over her sister. Amber doesn’t understand. Tuh-ressa goes over and tells Nicole to address Amber and tell her what’s going on. Nicole says Amber owes her an apology. She then begins by saying she heard Amber is telling people she is a ho and that she broke up a family. Mel pipes in and says “I never said she called you a ho.” Amber says “You told her all of this?” Then yells to Nicole and Mel “You two, outside, let’s go.”
Nicole says, no they don’t need to go outside. Everyone starts yelling. Madness sets in. Next thing we see is Nicole with a heavy grip on Amber’s hair, pulling her head down. People are jumping in and there is more yelling. Soon Matt and Jim come in to break the fight up between the women.
Amber goes up stairs and yells at Bobby about how Nicole attacked her. He thinks she is joking at first until Jim comes up and starts in. He puts the clump of Amber’s hair on the kitchen table while the two Joe’s look on.
Rino decides to get a dog in this fight and tells Jim to get his hands out of his pocket. He doesn’t trust him, he tells us. Rino wants Jim to clarify what Bobby told the guys about how he doesn’t want to be around the Joe’s. Jim tells us that Bobby has been his friend for over ten years and he shouldn’t have to worry about Bobby running to Rino or Joe or anyone else if he tells him something. I have to agree with him. Stop acting like a little bitch Bobby.
Rino keeps poking at Jim and Joe Gorga says he would like to know as well. Finally, Jim bends down and says to Joe “I work for the same attorney general that is prosecuting your brother-in-law. I deal with mortgage fraud you dumb f*ck.”
At this point Jim turns around and starts to walk away to leave. Next thing we know, Joe Gorga gets up to follow him and confronts Jim outside.
The fight continues next week. Until then,
