Melissa and Joe are driving in the car talking about going into the garbage business. They are going to look at the truck Joe bought without consulting her. It’s a regular truck not a regular garbage truck. He tells her that he invested millions of dollars in this. It isn’t a regular garbage business but rather they take Government documents and disintegrate it for them. Like a giant shredder. It’s a big investment says Melissa. They have three kids and a temporary house. He tells her they invested more money than he told initially and if it doesn’t work they lose everything. Well that should make her sleep well that night.
At Amber’s they are sitting down to dinner. Her husband Jim believes in old school values. “Yes daddy” or “no daddy,” is what he wants to hear. Then he yells over to his daughter who is digging in the bat cave – “don’t pick your nose!” Amber meanwhile is giving instruction on how to use a fork properly. Jim announces they will be doing another commercial for his residential mortgage business. He liked Amber’s hair flip in the last one and wants her to do it again. He tells the kids that there will be no sugar or soda on the set because it’ll be pandemonium.
Teresa is taking pictures to celebrate her new desert line. Milania of course is acting up. She’s giving Teresa anxiety and making her nervous. She grabs the cameraman’s camera and calls him a butthole. Then she screams for him to shut up. I guess Teresa thinks this is cute because she never truly corrects or disciplines her. I feel sorry for the teachers that will be in charge of Milania. They are going to need a raise.
Melissa and Amber are driving in the car talking about Teresa’s new desert line. They got off to a rough start but think are on the right track. Talk turns to the twins. Amber says they basically crashed her party. Then she says that she heard Nicole cheated and that is why her marriage broke up.
Audriana asks for a cup of tea. Milania is talking in a British accent. Dina is first to arrive. Everything looks amazing and it’s hard to impress this bitch, says Dina. Amber says she will be working out at the gym a lot after this party. Talk turns to how Audriana is Dina’s Goddaughter. She climbs on something and breaks it. Teresa sweeps it up. Audriana in sweet voice tells her she loves her. Like the Grinch my heart grew in size at that moment. Poor kid.
Next we see Melissa blindfolded doing a taste test. Melissa is fan of being blindfolded and having things stuck in her mouth. To clarify, she tweeted that she said NOT stuck in her mouth but I’m pretty sure I heard different. Amber apologizes to Teresa if anyone at her party offended her. She tells her no and that what matters is her daughters. Amber tears up and makes Teresa cry. Audriana asks why she is crying. Then Amber says she gets what she is going through because of “the cancer” she went through. Dina is annoyed with Amber at this point and so am I. Enough about “the cancer.” This isn’t about you at this particular moment and time. Thank you for your cooperation.
The twins couldn’t make Teresa’s party so they are meeting Joe and Teresa out. Tuh-ressa says that she heard Teresa is “dumb as a doorknob,” but she doesn’t care about a person’s intelligence (or lack thereof) she just likes their heart. Talk turns to Nicole and Bobby. They’ve been dating eight months and she’s tired of people asking her “where my relationship is at.” Tuh-ressa tells Joe and Teresa that “it’s nice meeting them and knows they are going through a hard time and that if there is anything that . . .” So Rino butts in and says “they just met and that they are there for them if they need it.” Teresa tells us in her TH, that was nice because she knows there are a lot of haters out there but she just loves, loves, loves. Joe Giudice makes a toast saying he normally doesn’t like to go out and meet new people but he is glad that he did.
Melissa and Amber out having drinks making small talk. Again about reconnecting and how things change when they get married and have kids.
While Amber is out, Bobby goes over to see Jim. He brings McDonald’s and the kids are beyond thrilled. Jim warns them “don’t tell mom.” He says that he is bad cop on discipline and good cop on food.
Amber talks about Melissa’s song and tells her that she’s an actress. Okay, if you call making a low budget commercial for your husband’s business and doing a hair flip, acting, then girl, you go get that Sag Card! She tells Melissa that she cut her dreams short because of “the cancer.” Again, talk about whether or not Melissa knew about it. Melissa asks what she wants to do with their friendship. Amber says she isn’t there to nitpick and that they are good. Yeah for NOW.
Back to Jim and Bobby, Bobby suggests a guy’s night out. Jim says it’s a conflict of interest because he works in the mortgage business and Joe is guilty of mortgage fraud. Jim says he could be working with the attorney trying to convict Joe.
Dina goes to where Lexi is working. They discuss an email from NYU where they declined Lexi’s application to attend that school. Lexi doesn’t know why. Dina wishes she could fix it. Lexi wonders if it was because she wasn’t good enough. Dina says no and it’s their loss. She gives her a present. It’s a snake bracelet and that she got one for herself too. The red color means protection, green eyes for growth and a snake sheds skin for change.
Its guy’s night out PLUS Rosie. They are bowling. Rino says as soon as Rosie started talking he knew they would have a good time. Someone asks where Jim is. Bobby says Jim was under the impression there would be a conflict of interest if he came seeing as he works in the mortgage biz. Bobby didn’t want to say it because Jim doesn’t want to be around felon. Joe Gorga doesn’t buy it.
At Dina’s house James Van Praagh, the Medium is there. He is Dina’s friend. He tells Dina she won’t be in her house in 2 years because change is coming and Lexi that will be fine. Teresa is coming over. He’s going to read her.
Melissa and the twins meet in a store to do some shopping. Tuh-ressa talks about Jim and how he didn’t want to go out because he didn’t want to be seen with Joe Giudice. Melissa hollers back that he (Jim) needs to learn respect. Melissa talks about how Amber isn’t the same person she used to be. She is drama queen-ish and talks behind others back. Melissa tells Nicole that Amber said she wrecked a family by cheating. Tuh-ressa says that isn’t true. Melissa is saying that rumors happened to her and she wants them to know what was being said behind their backs.
Nicole wants to go to Amber’s house right away and confront her. Tuh-ressa wants them to go RIGHT NOW!! But first they need gas in the Mercedes Benz so they stop and tell the gas attendant to “put in $10.00 and hurry.”
Teresa arrives at Dina’s and screeches to Jim Van Praagh then tells him that his fly is open. He tells her that she has a lot going on. One doesn’t need to be a medium or psychic to know this. He asks if she is moving. She says “No,” he tells her she will be. Moving as like moving to a jail cell? She doesn’t want to move because she wants the girls to remember their home. He wants to look at photos Teresa may have. He tells her that Joe is going through his own hell. Then he asked if his dad passed over. Heartbreaking since we know he died a few months later. He says Joe wants his dad’s approval. He doesn’t see Teresa in jail but he isn’t so sure about Joe. He doesn’t know if he will get off. He sees him doing some time and restitution. She doesn’t think about it and it gave her chills.
She said that she just thinks about her kids and Joe then tears up. “Why is this happening,” she asks. Because you committed a crime, pled guilty and are awaiting sentencing is my guess.
Nicole is fuming over what Melissa told them. She and Tuh-ressa pull up to Amber’s house. Amber and Jim are putting the kids to bed. The twins decide to wait to confront Amber another time because they don’t want to disturb the children. Good idea – someone thinks about the kids for a change!
Next week we see the confrontation.
I began writing about people that put themselves on Reality Television 3 years ago after my son was in a car accident. I needed something to do when I became his primary caregiver.
