Phaedra Parks

Apollo Nida, star of  The Real Housewives of Atlanta did a recent interview with Sister2Sister Magazine. Apollo opened up about his marriage to Phaedra Parks, his (previous) life behind bars, his mother’s death and his current fraud charges.

The government charged Apollo with bank fraud and aggravated identity fraud in January 2014.  Apollo is currently on state parole for a 2004 racketeering conviction and awaiting a trial or plea deal on the current fraud charges from January.

The revelations Apollo makes in the interview, clearly indicate his marriage to Phaedra Parks is on the rocks. Apollo makes it glaringly transparent he’s uncertain about the future of his marriage. He gives credibility to the numerous news reports about their failing marriage and imminent divorce. As we reported previously, the Reality TV couple have been living apart and have not  posted pics together on social media in months.

After reading the full interview I felt second hand embarrassment for Phaedra. Apollo is dumb as a box of rocks and should not be allowed to talk to the press (unsupervised). Apollo is like a child with explosive diarrhea of the mouth. I’m shocked that Phaedra Parks, “Atlanta’s power attorney”  hasn’t put a muzzle on that man.  Lawd hammercy!

Below are highlights from the interview:

Regarding his previous 6 year stint in prison:

“I studied three religions when I was down: Buddhism, Islam and Christianity. I also led a ministry when I was in there, like a congregation.”

Regarding the death of his mother:

“My mom OD’d on heroin, actually in front of me when I was about 7”

Regarding Phaedra and the current state of his marriage:

“I really admired everything that she did as a woman. I think that we have lost sight of the true picture, which is that we did take an oath to God and we did build a family and a brand. Whatever has come of this reality fiasco, we have had two beautiful children, and at the end of the day, I only wish her the best.”

Regarding the future of his marriage:

“I can’t say if it’s going to last. But I hope that it does…I definitely love her. I’ve grown to love her more.”

Regarding his “career” and the fraud charges he’s facing:

“I don’t really get nervous. And this is not just boasting or bragging. Phaedra – I’m sure she’s nervous because at the end of the day, I’m putting my career in jeopardy.”
