DWTS Premieres Tonight: Will Nene Leakes Bring Home a Dancing With the Stars Glitter Ball Trophy?
The 18th season of Dancing with the Stars premieres tonight and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Nene “Nay-Nay” Leakes will be front and center with dance partner Tony Dovolani by her side. Nay-Nay will be strutting her hooves on the dance floor while dragging poor Tony behind her. Poor Tony!
Nene shared her state of mind with her E! Online about tonight’s premiere competition:
“Hunni, my nerves! I’m very nervous about tonight’s premiere of Dancing With the Stars because for me, I am totally out of my comfort zone. All these other contestants—especially the athletes —to me are great competitors, they understand competitions, and they have the endurance. A lot of them are young and they work out. I don’t work out, but that’s one of the reasons to join the show. I’m hoping to lose 20 pounds and get back in shape from being sick.”
Nene will be competing alongside notable names as Candace Cameron Bure, Olympic champs — Meryl Davis and Charlie White, Danica McKellar, Diana Nyad, Drew Carey, James Maslow, Cody Simpson, Amy Purdy, Sean Avery and Hollywood legend, Billy Dee Williams.
