Former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, Jacqueline Laurita, sat down with Life & Style Magazine to discuss her departure from the RHONJ. Jacqueline and her family seem to be in a happy place. Wouldn’t anyone that left a life of drama behind them?
Jacqueline told the interviewer:
“Right now, I’m really just enjoying time with my family and I’m writing a few books”
“My husband [Chris Laurita] and I are writing a book together about our journey with autism.” (Their 4-year-old son Nicholas is autistic.)
“My other passion is the beauty industry, so I’m also writing a book about busy moms and beauty things. I’m also writing children’s books! I enjoy writing — that’s what I love” she shared.
Jacqueline’s reasons for exiting the show:
“I needed a little bit of a break, but we’ll see what happens from there,” she told Life & Style
When questioned on the rumor Dina got her removed in order to return:
“I understand why Dina wouldn’t want me on the show: She doesn’t want to address family issues on-camera!”
When the RHONJ introduced the family feud dynamic, the show took a dark turn. Many fans vowed they would never watch again. Let’s hope season six brings less family drama and more laughs and fun times.
