The former Real Housewives of New York star, Bethenny Franklin has finally been silenced! She rose on Valentine’s day to a break-up. According to Deadline.com, the feisty, run-on sentence, speed talker has been given her walking papers.  The network credits low ratings as the cause of the cancellation.

The show was plagued with poor ratings and lukewarm reviews from the start. In response to the bad news, Bethenny released the following statement:

“I had a blast doing this show with Telepictures. My entire staff worked so hard and made every day so much fun. I am thankful for the experience and for all my fans who tuned in every day.”

This is just the latest in a series of setbacks for the Bethenny Frankel empire. First, the ongoing tumultuous divorce from Jason Hoppy, then her Skinnygirl products reported poor sales in 2013. According to Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Skinnygirl sales were down 29% in October. Beam Global Spirits & Wine bought the Skinnygirl brand from Frankel two years ago for an estimated $120 million. Bethenny sold all rights to the brand but remained on as the face of the brand. Franklin has a financial stake in the company.

Franklin appeared on The Real Housewives of New York which led to her own spin-off show, Bethenny Ever After. The show focused on her marriage to Jason Hoppy, raising her daughter Bryn and running her Skinnygirl company. On the show, Bethenny was harsh, self absorbed, neurotic and a crude business woman who put fame/career over her family.
