Joe Giudice, husband of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, Teresa Giudice, needs to get his second ‘going to court’ suit pressed and ready. NJ.com reports that an October 15 court date has been set to address charges that Giudice presented false documentation to get a driver’s license while his license was suspended.

Giudice allegedly presented his brother’s marriage and birth certificates to the Motor Vehicle Commission in Patterson in 2010, to snag a license to replace the one that was suspended because of a drunk driving conviction. While these charges can bring a potential ten years in prison for Giudice, a Passaic County prosecutor said that a plea deal will likely be struck, resulting in a prison term that would likely run at the same time as his federal sentence.

“I am sure we will be able to work this out through a concurrent sentence,” Jay McCann, a Passaic County chief assistant prosecutor, said at the hearing Monday
This hearing will be two weeks after the Giudices will be sentenced in federal court in Newark, and has been postponed many times while attorneys waited for the resolution of the federal case. I was momentarily excited at the prospect of Joe having to come to court in his prison attire, but apparently he will have 45 days to surrender himself, if he is indeed sentenced to federal prison, on October 2. Too bad!  Apparently, identity tomfoolery is the go to strategy of these sorry Bravo reality hubbies. Ask Phaedra Parks.
