Leviss, who had previously discussed her affair on Bethenny Frankel’s podcast, also addressed whether she regrets the interview. Her former castmates have criticized her remarks in the current episodes of the show.

In a episode of her podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue — Rachel Leviss shared insights into her relationship with Tom Sandoval, including the core issues that fueled their conflicts. Rachel revealed that the primary source of their disputes centered around Sandoval’s public relationship status with Ariana Madix.

“The main issue, the main source of our arguments were [that Tom] needs to break up with Ariana publicly,” Leviss stated. She expressed that it was unfair to both her and Ariana, accusing Sandoval of procrastinating the breakup despite claiming to be taking steps to end it amicably.

Rachel also discussed a significant argument triggered when she reconnected with an ex-boyfriend, a situation she had previously mentioned on Scheana Shay’s podcast. According to Leviss, this led to Sandoval labeling her a sociopath, escalating tensions further as she sought exclusivity while he remained publicly committed to Ariana Madix.

Addressing accusations from Sandoval that she led him on, Leviss countered by describing Sandoval as manipulative and controlling, particularly critical of his reactions to her decisions regarding her mental health. “He’s making it seem like he’s a victim of me,” she explained, adding that Sandoval opposed her stay at a mental health facility because it threatened his control over her.

Later, Rachel responded to Sandoval’s claim that she had used him, suggesting that their relationship was mutually beneficial as they both provided support during personal hardships. “It’s wild, his mindset. He believes that I used him. What purpose does it serve me to use Tom Sandoval in this way?” she questioned, refuting claims that her motives were fame or a storyline.

Reflecting on her decision to speak openly on Bethenny Frankel’s podcast, Rachel expressed no regrets, emphasizing that it allowed her to regain some control over her narrative amidst overwhelming media scrutiny.

“I feel like it was the right decision for me to be able to share my story freely, openly, which gave me some control back in this world,” she concluded, praising the platform for providing a ray of hope during a dark time.

During her appearance on Bethenny Frankel’s podcast, Rachel Leviss opened up about her reasons for entering a treatment facility, which extended beyond just seeking a break from the public eye. She detailed her intentions to delve into her own behavioral patterns that repeatedly led her into relationships with unavailable men and unhealthy dynamics. “But then the other part of the reason why I wanted to go to a treatment facility was to understand my behaviors and my goal was to really get down to the bottom of, ‘OK why am I choosing men that are unavailable, why do I keep finding myself in unhealthy relationships, what are the things that I need to change about my behavior,” she explained.

On Bethenny Frankel’s podcast, Rachel Leviss had also reflected on her decision to engage in the affair, expressing remorse for the pain her actions caused. She candidly admitted to acting recklessly, driven by immediate emotional needs rather than considering the long-term consequences.

“I do want to take a moment though to just acknowledge the hurt that I brought to a lot of people. I was not careful in my actions and I was not thinking long-term. I was completely wrapped up in heartbreak and wanting to get certain needs met,” she shared.

Leviss also revealed that her actions were influenced by unresolved feelings from a previous significant relationship. “Looking back now, I can see that I was still healing from a relationship with someone I thought I was going to marry. And in ending that, I still haven’t healed yet,” she added.
