Bethenny Frankel Says Sex With Jason Hoppy Was TORTURE and FORCED … She Regrets Having His Child!

In a candid revelation, former Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel opened up about the torment of her marital intimacy with ex-husband Jason Hoppy, expressing deep regret over aspects of their relationship.

Real Housewives of New York City star, Bethenny Frankel, disclosed the challenges she faced in her marriage to ex-husband, Jason Hoppy.

Speaking on her podcast Just B Divorced, Bethenny Frankel, 53, shared how she felt forced to engage in intimacy with Hoppy, despite her lack of desire, prior to the dissolution of their marriage in December 2012.

Recalling the difficult times, Bethenny Frankel recounted Jason’s remarks, stating, “He used to say to me, ‘You’re like a block of ice,’ because I did not want to be intimate. I did not want to have sex.”

Bethenny attributed her reluctance to a lack of “respect,” for the relationship, expressing, “I used to force myself, gag myself through doing it… it is torture.”

Bethenny offered insights into her experiences of parenthood amidst the challenges of her marriage to Jason Hoppy. The couple married in 2010 and welcomed their daughter, Bryn Hoppy, shortly afterward.

Despite her love for her daughter, Bethenny expressed mixed feelings about the timing of Bryn’s conception. “I will never regret my daughter for one minute,” Bethenny emphasized during her podcast, “Just B Divorced.” However, she candidly shared feelings of being overwhelmed by the circumstances, stating, “I felt like I was bullied and waterboarded and flogged and on a road I could not get off of.”

Several years after the birth of their daughter Bryn, Bethenny became pregnant once more. However, she experienced a miscarriage around six weeks into the pregnancy. Despite the heartbreaking loss, Frankel confessed feeling “relieved” that she wouldn’t be adding another child to what she described as her “suffocating” marriage.

“In a constructive way, I said, ‘I’m kind of relieved … because I don’t think this is a healthy or positive relationship,’” Bethenny recalled telling Hoppy. “It was like the first step to saying something.”

While Bethenny  perceived the situation positively, Jason reacted with anger.

“He said to me, ‘You’re a real piece of s–t, you know that?’” she recalled. “He moved out to a hotel downtown for a couple of nights, and it was total relief.”

The incident marked the start of the couple’s downfall.

Bethenny filed for divorce from Jason in January 2013, but the turmoil continued. In 2017, she obtained a temporary order of protection against him, alleging harassment and stalking.

The couple engaged in a nearly decade-long court battle over finances and custody of their daughter. Ultimately, Bethenny was granted full legal custody and primary residential custody of Bryn.

Their tumultuous divorce was officially concluded in January 2021. Just a few months later, Bethenny’s boyfriend, Paul Bernon, proposed to her with a stunning diamond ring.

However, Bethenny has admitted to feeling hesitant about remarriage, citing the difficulties of her previous divorce from Jason as a factor.

“I don’t want to sign a contract with someone I love,” Bethenny expressed to E! News in 2023. “And I don’t want to plan a massive wedding for everybody else and not what we want.”
