Shelli BB17_Big Brother 17

Sunday’s episode was jam-packed full of craziness. It all came down to Audrey vs. Da’Vonne. Ready?

Shelli and Becky won HOH on Thursday night. Both were excited. Both were nervous. Clay was also excited for Shelli. The only person not excited for Shelli/Becky winning HOH was Da’vonne.

Immediately, Clay had his target- Da’Vonne. He said Da’Vonne will target both him and Shelli, and he doesn’t trust her. Is he psychic? Da’Vonne doesn’t trust them.

Vanessa is upset. She says the entire house is against Audrey, and this is the reason. During my last recap, I explained Audrey waking people up and pulling an alliance together. She also said Vanessa is not to be trusted because she’s the mastermind of an all girls alliance. Audrey then went to Vanessa and said Da’Vonne told her Vanessa was the mastermind of an all girls alliance. Vanessa had both Audrey and Da’Vonne in a room and asked Da’Vonne if she said that. Da’Vonne says nope. That never came from her. Audrey tried calling Da’Vonne a liar, so Da’vonne calls a house meeting. She wants the truth will come out. Da’Vonne asks the other houseguests when Audrey woke them up the other night did she tell them Vanessa is not to be trusted because she started an all girls alliance? Jason confirms Audrey did say that. Da’vonne also brings up how Audrey started the drama between her and Clay. Clay confirms Audrey did go to him and ask him to talk to Da’vonne. Da’vonne tells Audrey “Your sh– has hit the fan point blank and period.” Vanessa feels bad Audrey is now hated, but it’s a good thing because she’s a bigger target, and it keeps everyone else safe for a few more weeks possibly. After all this drama, Audrey’s new strategy is to “lay down and play dead.”

Da’Vonne and Jeff are hanging out in the living room. Jeff asks Da’Vonne if she thinks Audrey has some kind of deal worked out with Shelli/Becky. Da’Vonne says Audrey isn’t concerned with her safety. After the HOH, she winked and smiled like she was positive she was safe this week. Da’Vonne says (in her DR) she’s worried she might go up, and if she does “bring it” because she isn’t scared of anything or anyone. This won’t end well for Da’Vonne.

Becky/Shelli come out at the same time “Who wants to see our HOH room?” Everyone acts excited. We know Da’vonne acts excited because she says she doesn’t even care about going up and seeing it or listening to their letters. When they enter, there’s a picture of Shelli as a kid in a costume which melts Clay’s heart. Becky/Shelli both read their HOH letters which, of course, makes them get all sappy. Da’Vonne says she has the biggest poker face on right now.

After everyone clears out Shelli/Becky have a little game talk. Shelli asks what’s her ideas about nominations. Becky says the biggest elephant in the room is Audrey. The house already hates her she should be the target. Shelli agrees. They agree they need 4 pawns. She wants to give Audrey the dreaded backdoor treatment. Becky brings up the idea of Steve going up as 1 of the pawns because he’s just awkward.

Becky/Shelli agree they need to discuss ideas with the other houseguests so, Becky sets up office in the storage room to have discussions about nominations, and pawns. She pretty much tells everyone her target is Audrey. Austin is just worried about getting backdoored this week, but Becky assures him he is safe. Everyone knows Becky wants to target Audrey, and she thinks Shelli is also onboard with this plan.

Later on, Jeff and Clay talk about all this nonsense in the storage room. Clay tells Jeff nothing that comes out of Audrey’s mouth can be trusted, however he thinks they can make a deal with her. He doesn’t think she’ll go after Jeff/Clay/Shelli. Da’Vonne will. He thinks Da’Vonne should go first. They bring in Audrey to discuss a deal. Audrey says she’s putting on this Emmy winning performance for them just so they’ll keep her safe. Jeff thinks Audrey is manipulating Clay because he has a big heart and he’s an emotional player.

It’s now time to bring the actual HOH in on his plan. Clay talks to Shelli, and convinces her Audrey won’t target them. Da’Vonne is a bigger target because if she or Jason wins HOH they will put them up. Yes, Clay is scared of a girl who only has about 1 person in the house on her side, and doesn’t win comps. If this is going to work, they need someone nominated against Da’Vonne who will throw Battle of the Block. See why fans hate this twist? Clay volunteers, but Shelli shuts that down right away. He’s too big of a target for the other side of the house. John and Steve’s names both come up as pawns. Shelli/Clay bring in John and ask him if he’ll go up as a pawn next to Da’Vonne, and throw Battle of the Block. Clay assures John he will not go home and Clay will have his back in the future, but in the end John agrees.

We can’t get through an episode without stories about the houseguests. The houseguests are hanging out in the backyard and Becky brings up something that happened to her a year ago. She was walking at 6am. It was still dark outside. She looked around a van, and the front of a train hit her in the face. She had a fractured wrist, skull. Lots of facial injuries. A couple of her teeth were knocked around. She was out of work for 8 weeks recovering, and recovered without plastic surgery. After this happened to her, she hung out more with her family, went to church, and calmed down. She then makes the joke about calling her a train wreck.

Nominations are coming up. James is very nervous. He thinks he went from Bel Aire to a trailer park. Steve is also nervous. Shelli nominates John/Da’vonne. She says she doesn’t have any trust with Da’Vonne. Becky nominates Jason/Steve. She tells Jason she’s nominated him because he put her on the block last week, but she’s excited for what this week can bring. Right after nominations Da’Vonne says  “She’s cute tho.” Audrey says she’s ecstatic she isn’t on the block, but she’s worried about being backdoored. Becky’s target is Audrey. Shelli’s target is Da’Vonne. Becky doesn’t know Shelli is really targeting Da’Vonne. She thinks they have a mutual target.

After nominations, James, Jason, and Da’Vonne all go into one of the bedrooms. James asks how the hell Audrey wasn’t nominated. Jason, and Da’vonne both agree they are the targets. Jason thinks they are being targeted because they “aren’t afraid to snatch a wig.” Jason says this is a full on attack against them. (Da’vonne/Jason)

Becky assures Jason and Steve they are pawns. Audrey is the target. Jason says (in his DR) he wants to win Battle of the Block to ensure his safety this week.

Audrey runs up to the HOH room and asks Shelli and Clay if they have a plan B if Steve or Jason throw the Battle of the Block comp. Shelli tells Audrey she doesn’t think they will. Shelli says (in her DR) it’s not her business to tell Audrey what Becky is planning. It would screw up her game. Shelli shuts down Audrey’s game talk by saying she isn’t discussing game anymore tonight. Audrey says goodnight, gets up and leaves.

John and Da’Vonne get together to discuss their Battle of the Block strategy. John tells Da’Vonne just to get plenty of rest, eat, and of course brush her teeth. John’s not sure he’s going to throw Battle of the Block, but he says “sorry Da’Vonne.” Sounds like he’s pretty positive he’s throwing it.

Audrey comes out of the DR announcing the start of the Battle of the Block. This is how the comp goes. The theme is staying with “Ginger Fever” starring Kathy Griffin. The 2 teams must match the cameras with the set list objects. They aren’t sure which cameras go with which objects, but the twist is they have to wear those 2 man shirts and work together. The first person to match all the cameras to the object set list wins and dethrones the other HOH. The strategy with Jason and Steve is to uncover 2 cameras at a time, and match them with the set list objects. Da’Vonne and John’s strategy is to uncover all of them at once then match them with the objects. Right away Da’Vonne notices John is going really slow, and she’s practically dragging him around. Let’s face it, their strategy sucked. Of course Jason and Steve won which dethroned Becky. Becky is still pumped even if she’s dethroned. She still thinks Shelli is targeting Audrey. She can’t wait to see the rest of the week unfold. She’s also pumped it’s Shelli who hands are going to get bloody, not hers.

So, we’ve had nominations, and Battle of the Block. No mentions of the twin twist, or the BB Takeover with Kathy Griffin yet. The only way Da’Vonne may be safe if she loses POV is if MAYBE she or Jason picks up Kathy’s 7th call. Whoever picks up that seventh call gets to nullifies  3 votes for eviction on Thursday. Can’t wait for this twist! Remember for the unedited Big Brother drama, get the 24 hour feeds.
